બારી ખોલી

સસલાની જેમ તરત

અંદર આવ્યો તડકો;

પછી

સન્નાટો લઈને આવી બપોર;

પછી આવી સૂમસામ સાંજ;

પછી હળવેકથી પ્રવેશી

ઉદાસ રાત,

પણ-

વરસાદની વાંછટ જેવો એ

સમય

રહી ગયો

બારી બ્હાર.

 .
